A cloudless night inspired my project, and freeform crochet and bead weaving encompass my artwork.

Brilliance

A star within us

tells its own story.

In a moment,

it reveals a certain

nocturnal song

and its compelling

movements.

Or when a poem lingers

below our surface

and becomes

the fiber inside us,

it remains ‘til we transform it 

outside ourselves.

Then, it captures us anew

in sunlight’s shine,

and the fire of a deep sunset,

or in a midnight’s dream.
