I am a maker of wearable art. I recently have
become interested in using recycled clothing and fabrics in my art. This
piece was made using a 100% wool sweater that I felted, cut-up, and then put
back together as a vest using freeform crochet. This is my first attempt
at using freeform crochet in a wearable art piece, and I think the piece works
well as a way to remake a garment into a piece of "Art to
Wear".
