Unpredictable
Volcanoes, earthquakes, sinkholes,
unseasonably beautiful days- Mother Earth is always hard to predict. My work
was inspired by all of the unpredictable natural occurrences. I used, what is for me, an unpredictable
technique:
Freeform Tunisian Lace.
Tunisian crochet is inherently linear and
trying to coerce it into a freeform state gave me some interesting and
unpredictable results. Attempting to turn
my work into a jacket had its own unpredictable moments.
