This piece is called Memories of a Summer Day. It is done as surface crochet on a latch hook background, like Prudence makes her wonderful bags. (thanks, Prudence, for the inspiration!) I used a lot of textures and color to get the look of a summer day and the feel of a little child's art work. This is a close-up of a bag I did for my little doll, Baby Jane. The idea is that this is a crochet representation of her art work.
