Beaching Combing Treasures - Freeform Crochet
Sculpture.
This piece was inspired by my world of family holidays spent beachcombing .
These often result in returning home laden with special treasures collected
during the holiday. These particular scrumbles make use of three of such
treasures, as each uses a rock or pebble that has been collected by each family
member. These have been incorporated within the piece, to provide a
three-dimensional tactile memory that aims to remind us of the beachy
landscapes we love.
