In early
Spring Western Washington is full of contrasts. It snows, then it is 70
degrees. This can be the same day or different days. The skies can be bright
blue or turbulent with clouds. Lawns are freshly mowed, bits of color from
flowers coming. The trees are all different shades of green making the forests
beautiful.
The warmth of Spring was slow this year. We look for every evidence it is
coming, leaving snow and freezing temperatures of an usually hard winter
behind.
